Health Screenings

Men’s and Women’s Health at our Medical Clinics
Our clinic provide comprehensive routine testing related to the overall health and well-being of adults:

Lipid Profile - A blood test that can measure the amount of cholesterol and triglycerides in your blood. This test is important because high cholesterol levels usually don’t cause any signs or symptoms and high levels often are a significant risk factor for heart disease.

Glucose – This test measures the amount of glucose you have in your blood, which is an important source of energy. It will help determine whether or not you have diabetes.

Liver Function – The tests measure the levels of certain enzymes and proteins in your blood. This tests can be used to screen for liver infections (such as hepatitis), monitor the progression of a disease (such as viral or alcoholic hepatitis), and determine how well a treatment is working, measure the severity of a disease, particularly scarring of the liver (cirrhosis), and monitor possible side effects of medications.

Kidney Function – This test measures the level of waste products, such as creatinine and urea, in your blood. The test determines if the kidneys are working properly. Electrolytes – This tests measures the levels of electrolytes and carbon dioxide in your blood. It determines whether a disease is suspected, or if a medical condition is improving or worsening.

Complete Blood Count (CBC) – This test measures several components of your blood and can help diagnose a broad range of conditions, from anemia and infection to cancer. A CBC screens for certain disorders that can affect your health.

Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) – This test measures the amount of TSH in your blood. The test determines whether you have an overactive or underactive thyroid gland, and monitor a thyroid condition.

Prostate Specific Antigen Test (PSA) – This test measures the amount of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in your blood. It can detect high levels of PSA that may indicatethe presence of prostate cancer. However, many other conditions, such as an enlarged or inflamed prostate, can also increase PSA levels.

Blood Pressure – High blood pressure increases the risk of strokes and heart disease. Having your blood pressure checked will tell you if you need to make lifestyle adjustments or seek treatment for hypertension.

Body Mass Index (BMI) – This test is conducted to see how your weight and height correlate with each other. The results can determine if you’re currently at a healthy weight or at risk for serious health conditions due to excess body fat. Our weight management experts can determine the best weight loss approach for you.
