A COVID-19 TESTING FACILITY

Shady Grove Internal Medicine is now offering Covid-19 testing. Covid-19 PCR testing is considered the “gold standard” in SARS-CoV-2 detection and checks for current COVID-19 illness and infection.

In order to provide our patients with the safest care, we will be testing those who meet the criteria in a drive-up setting to limit exposure. Our testing for corona virus infection is being offered Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 12 noon. Please contact our office for weekly corona virus testing hours updates.

**Due to the volume of COVID-19 testing being performed at laboratories, the current turn-around time for test results is 2 - 5 days.

**Patients must be screened via a telehealth appointment with a provider prior to arriving at the testing center. Call our office to schedule an appointment. Test results will be delivered via the patient portal in approximately 2 - 5 days.
