John Chuke, MD MHS

Dr. John Chuke is a board certified Internist. Dr. Chuke completed his residency at the reputable William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Prior to that he worked as a researcher in the Departments of Neurology and Ophthalmology at the University of Kentucky Medical Center where he conducted early and extensive research in the medical uses of botulinum toxin (Botox) and authored several academic papers.

Dr. Chuke is a second-generation physician with over 15 years experience as a practicing internist. He received his medical degree from the University of Nigeria, where he graduated at the top of his class. He later went on to complete rotations at the Yale University Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut and the Westminster Hospital in London, UK. He holds a Masters Degree in Healthcare Finance and Management (MHS) from the world-renowned Johns Hopkins University located in Baltimore, Maryland and has been a Physician Manager with the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group, the nation's largest Health Maintenance Organization.

Dr. Chuke is an active member in several professional organizations including the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Society of Bariatric Physicians and the American Association of Healthcare Executives.

He currently resides in Potomac, Maryland with his wife and three children.
